1. General Terms

  • Agreement: These Terms and Conditions constitute a legal agreement between you (the “Customer”) and Sambalpur Cab Service (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a binding contract to use our services.

2. Booking and Reservation

  • Booking Method: You can book a ride through our website, mobile app, or by calling our customer service number.
  • Reservation Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation message/email from us. This includes details such as the pick-up time, vehicle type, and driver contact information.
  • Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate details during the booking process, including pick-up and drop-off locations, time, and contact information.

3. Payment Terms

  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets (e.g., Paytm, Google Pay). All payments are due at the end of the ride unless otherwise agreed.
  • Pricing: Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and the type of vehicle chosen. Additional charges may apply for extra stops, waiting time, or any special requests.
  • Advance Payments: For long-distance trips or special bookings, an advance payment may be required. This will be outlined at the time of booking and is non-refundable except as per our cancellation policy.
  • Taxes and Fees: All fares include applicable taxes and fees. Any changes to taxes or other charges will be reflected in the final fare.

4. Cancellations and Changes

  • Customer Cancellations:
    • Free Cancellation: Cancellations made at least 2 hours before the scheduled pick-up time are eligible for a full refund.
    • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 2 hours of the scheduled pick-up time will incur a 10% cancellation fee.
    • No-Show: If you do not show up for the ride at the designated pick-up point, the full fare will be charged.
  • Changes to Booking: Any changes to the booking (e.g., changing the time, pick-up location, or vehicle type) must be made at least 1 hour before the scheduled pick-up time. Changes may affect the fare.
  • Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel a booking in case of unforeseen circumstances such as vehicle breakdowns, weather conditions, or other emergencies. In such cases, we will attempt to notify you as early as possible and offer a refund or reschedule the booking.

5. Ride Service

  • Service Areas: We provide services within Sambalpur and nearby areas. If you are booking outside our regular service areas, additional charges may apply. Please confirm with us in advance.
  • Vehicle Availability: While we strive to provide the vehicle type requested, during peak times or unforeseen circumstances, we may need to provide an alternate vehicle.
  • Delays: We make every effort to be punctual; however, delays due to traffic, weather conditions, or other factors may occur. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible.
  • Passenger Conduct: You agree to behave respectfully towards the driver and other passengers. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone engaging in illegal, disruptive, or abusive behavior.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Pick-Up and Drop-Off: You are responsible for being at the correct pick-up location on time. Any additional charges may apply if the driver is delayed due to incorrect location details.
  • Baggage: You must notify us in advance if you have large or bulky luggage. Extra charges may apply for oversized or excessive baggage.
  • Pets: Pets are allowed in the cab, but must be pre-notified during the booking. A cleaning fee may be charged depending on the situation.
  • Alcohol and Drugs: Consumption of alcohol or drugs inside the vehicle is prohibited. We reserve the right to refuse service to passengers under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

7. Liability

  • Limitation of Liability: Sambalpur Cab Service is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our services, including but not limited to accidents, delays, or loss of personal property.
  • Personal Injury or Loss: We provide fully insured vehicles for the safety of passengers. However, you should have personal insurance coverage for any unforeseen incidents or injuries.
  • Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or other emergencies.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Personal Information: We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any personal data you provide will only be used for the purpose of booking, billing, and improving our services.
